MAKING A BOOKING
We use a fantastic system to make it easy for you to make a booking. If a date is not listed for an activity you wish to do, please drop us a message and we will do our best to see what we can do. Please note with all bookings, the balance is required before the activity commences.
CHANGES MADE BY YOU.
In case you need to cancel the activity, then the following charges apply:
Multiday sessions (trips and tours including an overnight stay)
42-21 Days before the activity date 50% of the total activity fee
20-0 Days before the activity date 100% of the activity fee
Day sessions (Sessions completed within a single calendar day)
14-8 Days before the activity date 50% of the total activity fee
7-0 Days before the activity date 100% of the activity fee
We understand that sometimes plans change at the last minute that cannot be helped. However, spaces for all of our sessions are limited and cancellations at the last minute make it difficult to resell spaces. If you let us know later then the notice period above we will try to resell your spaces. Only if we can resell your space will we offer a free reschedule. We will not offer a refund in this case.
Any non-attendance of any activity for any reason whatsoever is deemed a cancellation with no notice and payment is due in full.
In the case where we make a refund to you, the refund may take up to 14 working days to be processed. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method that the original payment was made.
RESCHEDULING LESSONS, TRIPS AND SESSIONS
Rescheduling is only permitted for Day Sessions, but if requested within 14 days of the initial date of the Activity, will incur a £10 rescheduling fee per person, per change. Rescheduling fees must be paid immediately upon rescheduling.
CHANGES MADE BY US
We reserve the right to change any part of a published activity if this is caused by circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any activity and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known. We will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature.
For any lessons, trips or sessions, which are rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances such as thunderstorms and high winds; rough seas; instructor or guide sickness; then, We will reschedule the activity and we will offer paddlers as many dates as possible to participate in their session. Please note that a refund is not available in this circumstance.
All activities are subject to minimum numbers. If an activity is cancelled because it has not reached the threshold required, those who have booked will receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
The location and date of the activity are detailed in the activity information on the booking page. We reserve the right to change the location and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known. Please check the e-mail you provided at the time of booking the evening before your activity to ensure you are fully informed of any changes. We will not be liable for out of pocket expenses due to cancellation or any other changes to venue or session.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY
Cave Active Adventures has a comprehensive public liability policy with an indemnity limit of £5 million. We are happy to provide a copy of our certificate should you need one. Bookings DO NOT include personal travel or accident insurance. Please ask your insurer for details of the necessary cover for taking part in outdoor activities.
Guests will at all times during the course, in the interest of safety promptly comply with all reasonable instructions or advice given to them by us. If they fail to comply with such instructions or advice, or have the safe ability to perform at the activity, we reserve the right to exclude them from the session and do not accept any responsibility for any liability, loss expenses or damages arising because of their failure to comply. During the activity we will assess your skill level. If we feel your skill level is not adequate or safe before embarking on an activity, we reserve the right to exclude them from the session.
All medical forms are required to be completed prior to getting out on the water with us. For guests who cannot swim please notify the office and instructor and they will ensure they will give you. buoyancy aid. Failure to provide completed medical forms, the activity will be cancelled.
DAMAGE TO KIT
Cave Active Adventures kit is very high quality and therefore we expect our guests to look after it. Damage or loss to Cave Active Adventures equipment caused by negligence, malicious acts or carelessness must be paid for at the time at current replacement value.
CONSENT – PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM
Please notify Cave Active Adventures if you do NOT consent to the use of photographs and video recordings of yourself taken by Cave Active Adventures. A question has been added at the end of the Medical Form.
