Hi Guys, Phil here.
I’m a father of three and husband to my long suffering wife Jo.
I’ve always loved spending my time outdoors. Growing up on a farm I didn’t really have much of a choice. Being outside and playing in the muck is where I’ve always felt most comfortable. Growing up on a farm was great. Plenty of space for riding push bikes and motorbikes, climbing trees and building tree houses before swinging under the branches on an old wheelbarrow tyre.
As I grew older scouting seemed to be a logical progression. It was in scouting that my love of the outdoors turned into a love of outdoor pursuits such as climbing, kayaking, hiking and bushcraft. This further developed into a love of watersports and more specifically windsurfing after I moved to the south coast of England. Windsurfing really gripped me. It was the speed, adrenaline and harnessing the power of nature that fuelled my love for the sport. A love that is still very much alive.
Nine years ago I was introduced to SUP (Stand Up Paddle-boarding) and threw myself into it. I am now a passionate Stand Up Paddle-board racer, surfer and adventurer. I’ve been paddling for almost a decade and love to be out on the water doing my thing. I’ve paddled none stop around the Isle of Wight, around the Island of Mallorca in 7 days, completed an endurance race series and achieving a 2nd place series title, as well as multiple podium positions in shorter races across the country.
Now its time to give back and share the stoke. I want to be able to share my love of the outdoors and my passion for SUP adventuring with as many people as I can.
See you out on the water soon.
